Hello,
I have a 1958 Edsel Pacer and the master cylinder is worn. My car has the Bendix Treadle Vac master cylinder with a vacuum booster. I am wondering if I can upgrade it instead of replacing it. Preferably if there was a swap that was newer and easier to service.
I'll also take any info on a master cylinder rebuild kit

Having the master cylinder sleeved as a lower cost option isn't an option?
New casting are available as well as kits. Although the cylinders aren't cheap.
