92 Ford Meteor Clutch Problem
Hi there
I have a 1992 1.6L Ford Meteor with issues. I was hoping someone could give me some advice.
When I push the clutch pedal down it just swings down and locks against the back wall. I have to pull it back to its original position. When I push the clutch in, it doesn't do anything to the gears. I can force the car into first gear, but without a clutch I can't change up. After a few minutes my clutch starts working properly again. This can occur while driving or while the ignition is off.
I've checked my master cylinder and it seems fine; has pressure and pumps fluid.
I'm at a loss. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how I could fix it?
Thanks!
