I have a 92 tracer wagon that won't shift out of park. Brake Lts. work. I can feel the locking mechanism move the shifter when pushing the brake pedal. I think it's the release button on the shifter. I can't push it in. even when pushing & pulling on the shifter. There is also a flat button that looks like it might be an override but it's down & i moved it up & back & forth & still nothing. Any help would be good.
