I have a problem with the security system in my cougar. I have to unlock the doors with the remote in order
to start the car. Even if I unlock the car with the key I still have to use the remote to start the car. Is there any
way to bybass this or to disconnect the security system until I can replace it. The is old and pretty beat up, it was
like that when I bought the car. Is there some way to replace the remote besides getting a new system.
