Thumbs down E250, MPI 5.8l C6

Hello again. I get that 2,000RPM fast idle while driving. If kill the engine and restart, idle normal returns. I don't believe it's the throttle cable. Is it passable the "Kick down" might be sticking? This happen after warm / normal temp. I have a throttle cable but haven't replaced it. I did a TPS resistance and check good. Should I replace the TPS anyway? I'm frustrated.
Thanks for feedback on this issue.

Something is causing the computer to increase fuel to the engine and if there is no check engine light you might try to have the computer checked for any pending codes that might provide some direction. A good part of the time extra air is getting into the engine and sensors can cause the computer to increase fuel to correct a lean condition. Suggest you look for a cracked or leaking vacuum hose or PCV system hose/rubber connection that may have a crack or hole in it.

Default the story continues...

I accidentally found what I think is a temperature sensor on a intake runner , driver's side between cylinder 5-6, could this be A/F temperature? My vacuum linare all okay. I checked everything; a interesting project.
Thanks for your help!
