Island '79 Fairmont with big ideas
New to this site. I'm the owner of 1979 4dr sedan Fairmont located in Jamaica and figured this would be the right place for advice from fellow ford owners and enthusiasts. I was given the car on my 22nd Birthday as a gift from a deceased relative and want to restore and revamp the car with a modern touch. I've included a brief description along with photos below. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
1979 Ford Fairmont
4DR LHD sedan
ATM Tranny
Straight 6 3.3L engine
Stock Black As is currently
Mods to come: 18-20" Rims (Preferably 5x114.3 bolt pattern...Meaning adapters to convert or changing rotors), Flat Black Matte and blue Metal Flake(Blue Metal Flake portion to mimic BOSS stripe with 408 included) Paintjob, Sound System, upgrade to ford 408/485HP V8 [bb] , restored and revamped modern interior, black leather bucket seats, Air ride suspension (hydraulics too expensive to buy and maintain)
