On average, the K&N Air charger increased my MPG by 2 and increased the throttle response significantly. Here are some figures I gathered from the K&N website:

Unit replaces stock air induction system. The Air Charger application allows more air to get to your engine. This improves throttle response and fuel mileage. Average HP gains are 5% (6HP) and gains of 2 mpg! The filter can be washed and reused. Never buy a filter again!
