Looking for an egr tube for a 96 F150 4.9l. part number is F6TZ-9D477-P. They only made the part for one year and it is now discontinued. Looking for new or used if in working condition. Will pay finders fee

Depending on just what is wrong with the old tube , it may be able to be repaired or if the ends are good , might not be too difficult to have a local shop fabricate one for you as long as you have the original and it can be copied. All is not lost , once in a while we have to use that good old American ingenuity. As long as it doesn't involve any safety concerns , the locally made piece will outlast the original.

 

I am also looking for this F6TZ-9D477-P tube. If anyone has one laying around, name your price. Mine is beyond repair and I'm trying to avoid bypassing the egr system. Luck would have it Ford discontinued this specific part but kept all the egr tubes for other engine/year combos.
