She just told me she ordered $70 worth of stuff from Amazon. Floor mats rear deck mat. Some seat covers (dog proof). She already got the adapter cable for the I phone. The last car was "Hello Kitty" accessorized.

 

the gurls at work said "it looks like what the secret service drive" so being from Canada we have the Prime Minister....... and its pretty easy to get carried away with little accessories.

 

 

Nice car Les, but, not what my daughter would deem as pretty. However a couple of 30 cal's on the front would move traffic. BTW anyone have any ifo on key fob programming? We have two good ones and I like to have a third.

I had a 2010 with only 86k until some bimbo in an old Durango ran a light, took out my front end--but happily my girlie suv totaled the Durango's complete passenger side.
It's a good strong & safe car, very dependable, my brothers rarely had to work on it, only bummer is the rear tire well area will rust due to the 2 pieces of metal not being soldered together and not cupped solid or sealed. You can put a silicone gel up in there but will have to check it every so often. My collision guy said it's typical of that suv model & the Mercury's too due to not being solid pieces. Best of luck--i'm sure she'll love it !

 

Looking for an Escape in the 2008-2012 generation. Is there any particular model year that has proven to be more reliable than the rest and is there one or more to avoid? It seems I've read the most problems associated with the 2009 model and that's primarily the transmission. Thanks
