I need to help to get my driver's side door to open. The door will not open from outside or inside the car. Help! What do I do?

Roll the driver's side window all the way down. Now you can see the door latch mechanism with a flashlight. You may be able to see what moves or is supposed to move when you attempt to release the latch. If they used a button that you pushed down so the door canniot be opened from the outside just lift the linkage that the button releases when you pull it up. Don't remember what system they had then . Let us know if this helped you or not.
