6' lift

Default 6' lift

I have a 1979 f150 i never done any suspension work so please help me out here.....

What is all needed for 6' lift all i need to know is what parts i need

You have some work ahead of you.

We carry suspension systems for Fords (nothing in your era though). Here is a parts list for what you would have to upgrade for a F-150 6" suspension system.

* Torsion bar / cross-member and front differential drop brackets
* tubular subframe braces
* Rear riser blocks & u-bolts
* Longer coil springs / shocks
* caster brackets
* steering stabilizer
* track bar
* and more

With all that being listed, you still will have to figure out what will happen to your drive shaft. Will it be long enough? What kind of u-joints will be needed as your drive shaft will be at an angle rather than parallel to the ground..etc.
