E40d 4th gear slipping

Default E40d 4th gear slipping

My 1993 f150 5.0 with the e40d 4x4 is slipping when using 4th gear usually above 100kms
please help

How many miles on the Truck/Trans?
If your referring to the final OD shift (OD) it’s fairly common with high mileage units. If OD is canceled, do you have slipping at the noted speeds? Torque Converter ‘shudder’ generally appears early on the final shift with throttle tip in. They used to sell a product called Shudder Guard before the Mercon V lube upgrade. If the old fluid is aged out DextronIII/Merc, servicing with Mercon V would have the latest protections.
If this is the symptoms, you might try servicing the unit to see if it improves.

the truck was sitting in a field before I got it driving and replacing parts
been driving since October with no issues
The truck has 150000 ish kms
