I have a 1990 E350 motorhome chassis. I got on a bad muddy road and had to punish the rig. It has a transmission temp gauge and at no time ever saw anything above about 205. In the process the torque converter seal is leaking. the trans shifts normally. I pulled the pan and there is no foreign matter in the filter but there is some fine black debris on the magnet. I am thinking that I am OK with just replacing the seal and new filter and going on. The transmission was rebuilt some time ago and receipt showed new converter and overdrive parts. Anybody have any thoughts, these are new to me and not sure what to expect. Thanks in advance.
