I've got a 1963 Ford 223 ci inline 6 mated to a 3 speed manual tranny. Looks like the motor has a major problem, but I've got a 1966 Ford 200 inline 6 that's got a fresh rebuild and is sitting in my garage.

Will the 200 mate up to the 3 speed tranny?

I have several 223"s, One in the weeds out back,Not sure about the 200, can you measure top bell housing bolts?

I believe they were the same engine blocks back then. it was and is really hard to tell the difference between the two engines meaning that they both looked alike
