Hello Im new to this forum so I hope I posted correctly.
I have a 1995 windstar with a 3.8 vin 4. it runs fine has no codes stored and no light on when running. when I turn the key of the check engine light comes on and stays on killing the battrey. if i remove the R fuse from the engine compartment fuse box the light goes out and the light seems to work fine.
(key off=light off=battery ok) (key on engine off=light on))(engine running = light off). has anyone run accross this problem? I checked all fuses,under hood and under dash.
