Hi! I need some help, if you can, please. I'm considering buying a '99 Windstar LX with 82k miles. Body and interior are in really nice condition. My friend is only the 2nd owner. So far the only problem I have found with it is that neither of the power windows work. The rear ones work fine. Any ideas what would cause both to not work? Is it something that might be kinda pricey? Also, anything else I should look for specifically on this model? The price is pretty darn good and with two little kids, I'd LOVE to have a minivan. Just don't want to go into it blindly if I can help it. TIA

 

IMO, in my shop I see many electrical system problems on all years windstars. The rest of vehicle not bad if you get one that has newer 3.8 in it. Possible you have bad p/w switch, window motors, regulators? Could be costly $100 to $600 dollars to fix.
