Question Passenger door panel removal-Windstar

The passenger side window on my 2000 Windstar is not working so I wanted to remove the door panel. Is it an easy process? Any thoughts on this issue?

Its easy if you have the right tools. Otherwise go slow and be careful when prying off the panel plastic retainers , they can break if the plastic is brittle, the cardboard can pull off the retainer and tear if not careful. If you are not sure just go slow and don't force anything . There are some parts that have hidden screws /retainers. If you take your time its not that hard to remove, just remember there will be some wiring attached to the panel switches for electric door lock control, power window control etc.

The main one would be a slotted panel fork like tool. If you tell the auto supply store what you are going to do they will show you the tool. Some call it a door panel removal tool. Looks like a putty knife with a slot in it to allow getting behind the plastic retainers in order to pull them out without destroying the cardboard panel.
