Default replacing sparkplugs

Hello all,
My wife owns a 1999 Windstar, I have 2 questions, what is the easiest way, other than bringing it to a dealer, to replace the sparkplugs, the front 3 look easy enough but the back 3, lol, what a treat. The other question is what way do I turn the nut to remove the EGR valve, not the 2 holding it in place, I am meaning the inch and an eighth, I don't know the name for it, I just dont want to break it and I really need to either clean the EGR valve or replace it. Thank you.

The EGR line fitting nut should be a standard left turn to loosen. The rear plugs are easy to get to by removing the cowling. Remove the wiper arms, the remove the bolts holding the cowling in place, unplug the wiper motor and disconnect the water fluid feed tube. I would also suggest replacing the coil and plug wires while you're at it. These are wear and fail items. Usually shortly after doing your plugs if not replaced then. Don't forget to reconnect the wiper motor and washer fluid feed when done (Been there, done that).
