I have 98 Ford Windstar ( 6 cyl). I see the three plugs when I open the hood. Where are the other 3 plugs located ? If hidden, can they be changed by a back yard mechanic?

S/plugs in the right head are accessed from the underside..

 

I had to jack the van up and go in behind the rack and pinion. Use a short extention and ratchet to reach way up in there. My left fore arm took a whoopin' though.I also tried going aroundfrom the right front fender...not much luck though. That's about the only way to access the rear bank.

 

If you like self-mutalation you can access from above, IT'S A *itch though.........................
