I have a knocking noise coming from the right rear drum brake when applying the brake. This occurred after replacement of shoes, drums, and brake hardware. I've had it apart a couple of times checking and reseating all parts to no avail or change in the noise. This is similar to a post by WindstarWorkHorse back in Feb of 2008, however there was no definitive conclusion to that thread.

 

update - swapped drums l-r and r-l, noise gone.
