Default F-150 Driving/transmission issues

Hi I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas to help me out. I have a 1997 F-150 4x4, It is making a very loud crunching noise when putting it in park. It cranks but won't move. I have replaced the transmission, and still not working. I have also scanned it for any error codes and nothing. Any Ideas?? It sounds as if it does go into gear but will not drive.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Is the transfer case in between gears?

No , I don't believe so. Today I removed the transfer case to check if the transmission rod was turning when putting into gear and everything checks out ok, but the crunching noise is still there even with the transfer case being removed.
