Fuel Rail Pressure graph interpretation please
Hi all
I have got a Fiesta 1.6TDCI 2009 with small cutting off issue. The car shuts down while passing 1000rpm on acceleration, completely randomly.
Already replaced fuel filter, air filter, checked for boost pipe leaks etc all the usuall stuff. Injectors removed and tested at Bosh injector center, all fine.
Could anyone with appropriate knowledge interpret the below graph for me please? It is a FORScan read of actual fuel rail pressure - FRP red line, and desired fuel rail pressure - FRPD green line.
Two worries here - it takes a lot time to stabilise the actual after firing the engine up, at warm engine. Secondly there are two spikes going opposite ways - desired up, actual down. This is the very moment engine stalls.
Mine uneducated guess is high pressure fuel pump going to die?
All help much welcome and thanked for.
