Aspire/Festiva/Fiesta Possibly one of the original "sub compacts" this car offered amazinf fuel economy.

what year engine

Default what year engine

i don't think the engine in my car is the original did they have crank sensors in 95 is there a no. or code on the engine somewhere to tell the year?

The 1995 Aspire has a crank sensor built into the distributor, the crank sensor is not serviceable by itself.

The engine and transmission each have a label with the VIN of the vehicle it was originally installed in, I do not know where they are located other then that they are in a location unlikely to be affected by normal maintenance and non collision repairs.
