Default Dual Exhaust Kit for 1967 4 door 289

Any one ever come across a full dual exhaust kit for a 67' ford galaxie 500 4 door? with the 289 motor?

I have looked and looked and just not had any luck with finding a set.

Anyone else been thru this? local shop wants over 1000 for headers back (headers extra cost). Seems like i can find a better deal than that!
Anyone get a set for something else and mofify it?
Thanks in advance
Paul

There was at one time a "Walker" catalog (Exhaust part manufacturer) that showed the pictures and parts availability to convert to dual exhausts. I don't know if this is available anymore due to age. Might want to check if they still make anything like that available anymore.

I tried to buy an OE type transverse muff and 2 resonators for my 69 Firebird from or searching Walker since they were the last units on my car.. Nothing available per Walker.. Too bad,, I think they'd still sell units since a fairly popular market ($$$) exists over sending customers to an outfit like Gardner. Yes, they make top notch reproductions.. In fact,, Gardner would not sell me any exhaust parts including muffs etc,, unless I had purchased a FULL exhaust system from them prior.. Id image 'returns' was the problem for varying reasons, and the cause of the NO.
I did go to a local shop for some tail pipes, and some pipe tweaking done for' fit up' on on a pipe set I sourced from another online supplier..Muffs and resonators had to be 'clean case' and I was able to find a supplier there as well.. Price was reasonable at the right shop for some lite bending...Whats amazing is the cost of even straight pipe lengths before any bending begins! ..
