Hey guys,

Just thought I'd poke in and say hi. I have a few old vehicles to restore. The only one my toddler can ride in right now is my Ford, so it's what's on the front burner. I also have a 53 Chevy 3100, 55 Bel Air, a 63 Mercury Comet, and a few more motorcycles. I've spent a lot of time on motorcycles but wanted something I can cruise my son to daycare, movies, whatever happens. So, it's time to start working on my 1963 Ford. It had previously sat at my grandparent's house for about 20 years, he bought it new. As far as experience, I am a professional nerd ( software engineer ) who worked at a body shop in college. I own a four axis cnc machine to make anything I can't find along with a welder, English wheel, bead roller, etc. Interior is beyond my capabilities right now, so I guess I'll be learning that. It looks like my fuel pump may have died over the course of sitting. I'd guess the diagram rotted, but I'll pull it out today and decide if I should just throw in an electric or repair/rebuild/replace.

I'm happy to take any tips or anything that anyone throws up about these. Just hitting the forums now.

Anyways, here is my next project.
