Default 1983 Bronco, 6cyl 4.9L manual,4x4

Hello there. This is my first truck and restoring it. I am looking to put a new carburator in the engine. I have a Edlebrock in it already and was looking to replace it with the same model. I do want something maybe with a little more performance. I heard of holley carbs. What do you guys recommend. Whats the best option for my truck? I just do not know much about this subject.

Thank You,

Kind Regards,

Hello Zane,
There is only so much you can get out of a single barrel carb on that 4.9. They were great for economy and dependability. Just what kind of performance you seek will depend on more than just changing the carb.

I have the same engine waiting on my HEI distributor.
