When working on power areas of my truck, is it only necessary to remove the Negative battery cable from my battery?

I don't want any current running through my engine at all.

I'm planning to change my fuel pump, and I just want to make sure that is the only place it would need to be disconnected - any other tips welcome.

Pulling the negative cable would be fine.. Make sure it's tucked away/secured to the side so it can't spring back and make a contact...
