I'm trying to help a friend who has a 1997 Contour. His dash lights are out. I checked the 7.5 amp fuse under the dash and it was good. Can anyone give me suggestions where else to look? Thank you!

 

One of the better ways to check the push in type fuses , is to use a test lite and check the fuse in place. The reason I say this is because we have been on MANY wild goose chases where the fuse was reinstalled in the wrong slot. There are times a fuse can appear OK and still be defective.
