We went for a drive and everything was fine. We stopped the car and went for a hike when we got back in we reversed out of our spot and when I put the car in drive it wouldnt go. Nothing, shifted down to 2nd nothing, 1st a little but it wouldnt go forward.

Any ideas on what could be wrong? Thanks

We towed the car home today and I was able to let it roll down the canyon. I noticed that as long as very little power was applied the trans did connect and accelerate the car. So at the very least there is major slipping going on.
