Default 98 Contour 2.0 hard to start when cold

I have a 98 2.0L contour that started having a hard start when cold problem and it runs rough until it gets warmed up. It runs fine when warmed up.

Lately it has gotten so bad it wont start at all. I then have to take the plugs out and dry them off. I have had to do this 3 times now. For some reason it is getiing to much fuel and is fouling the plugs? I checked the fuel pressure and it is at about 34 lbs. I then removed the fuel injectors and had them checked and cleaned. They said the injectors were fine and really didn't need cleaning, but I had them cleaned anyway and put new o-rings on.

I then checked my compression in all 4 cylinders and they were all even at 150 per cyl. I am not sure what else to check? What else would cause my plugs to get fouled and not let it start when cold? Need Advice. Thanks

How old are the spark plugs, wires and coil pack? If they have some 50000miles on them replace them altogether.

Clean the MAF sensor with a MAF sensor cleaner, replace the air filter if needed and check for vacuum leaks.

Report back. If you have a Check Engine Light on, please have the codes read at a parts store and let us know.

Good luck!
