Ok so My battery light wont go off. I took it to the Dealership ([:@] alot of good that did) and they replaced my batttery cables but the battery light is still coming on. They can't figure it out. I think it's the alternator. I do know I half to replace my serpentine belt would that be making the light come on? Any Help would be appreciated.

 

Was the light on 'continuous' on the dealer visit? Most aftermarket parts vendors (or even your dealer) can use a simple tester to check the rate of charge at the battery.. If the light is one,run it by a parts store like Napa, Autozone, Pepboys ect. if close,and most will check it at no charge.. I would imagine your dealer would too if they misdiagnosed the problem..

 

When they replaced the Cabels the light would just go on & off once in a while. But now it stays on 5 min. after driving.
