Default Cooling Fans
I have an '02 contour that the cooling fans won't engage on, I bypassed the switch on the cowl and the drivers side fan came on but not the passenger side. I am unfamiliar with this system and would like some help!

If your vehicle is equipped with air conditioning, do the fans come on when you request air conditioning ?

I probably jumped the gun by pulling the radiator and cowl assy wanting to check that switch and yes it does have AC. Can I do an electrical test on the switch before I re-assemble?

If you can isolate the fans , you could run a hot wire and ground to each fan individually and confirm their function that way.

I did do that and they both work fine, can I do an electrical check on the switch that attaches to the cowl?
