Default 1986 CV Glove Box Removal

Succeeded in getting the glove box door open so I could retrieve legal documents. Now I need a new glove box door. Can anyone give me some general direction on removing the door so I don't break something else? Does anyone have suggestions on where to find a glove box door and lock assembly?

Thanks,
Gene

Some salvage yards have access to info as to what years used the same parts. You might try some of them.

Usually there are a few screws on the bottom and one or two on each side and a couple on the top that hold the glove box and door together. Most likely Phillips head screws.
If you look carefully you will be able to see them all. Take your time and no need to force anything. You may need a source of light to see the fasteners, nice easy clean job.
