I'm looking for the driver-side door electrical schematic for a 2010 Police Interceptor. I believe I have a short in the door that is disabling the door locks, outside mirror, and rear window defogger. The "door ajar" indicator comes on every once in a while as well as the "tire pressure" indicator. It has not affected the drivability of the car, yet. An odd thing that does occur is when the driver-side door is opened halfway, everything works. Once the door closes I get the previously described condition. I would greatly appreciate whatever you can send me. Dave

 

Hi Dave,
By the time you find a schematic you could find and possibly correct the problem.

If you have something that is affected by moving the driver's side door, very likely there is a broken wire in the door hinge area.
If you pull the cover boot off either the door or the pillar you can see and work on the wires. The only problem is you need to find which one is broken.
If you gently move one wire at a time you will find the wire and can effect a repair. .Have had a few of those already.
