Second time around
Since I haven't posted here before, thought I would throw this out and see what happens.
I owned an '83 Crown Vic....back in the '90s...and drove it for about 100k miles.
Through a long series of events that I will not go into, now own a 2002 Crown Vic (base model).
Driving it is SO familiar, even though it's been 20 years since I last had one.

Hi and welcome,
Our Super Moderator who usually answers all newcomers probably has been busy. Unfortunately, work kinda messes up your whole day, lol, and I'm sure you will hear from others on the forum. We always appreciate pictures of your ride if you care to share some of them us, Thanks.

Thanks....running good so far. For a 16 year old car with 144k miles, it’s in good shape. Previous two owners did most of the scheduled maintenance on time and it appears to have been garage kept for a lot of that time.

Some people just get into a car and drive from here to there.
Some others are tuned to the sounds and feel of the vehicle and can sense when something is not right and enjoy making a vehicle do what you want while paying attention to what it is doing and how it responds. I believe you are one of those that can tell if something is going wrong long before it becomes a real problem. Take care of your baby and enjoy it, they don't "MAKE EM" like that anymore!
