Default Turn Signal Keeps Clicking

HI, I have a 2000 Crown Vic, old police interceptor. I have only had it for a few months and didn't get a chance to look into the cause yet but the turn signal flasher keeps clicking when the turn signal is not even on. Not sure if anyone has any experience with this, but it is extremely annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

More than likely it is the lighting control module under the dash. Your vehicle does not use a regular flasher, but runs through the LCM for signals and hazards.

Does that mean I have to replace the whole LCM or is there any sort of fix for it?

If you are super good withrepairing electronic modules, you may be able to trace down the area and repair it. If not, replacement is the way to go. Might find one in a salvage yard.
