Hello, I am insearch of knowledge on factory (OEM) air filter assembly for a 1978 E150 with the 351 Windsor engine. Looking to buy the van and it has an aftermarket air cleaner on it. I want to put the original style back on and can't find any pic's of it using Google. Ebay currently doesn't have any for sale and I am not sure if I can trust an Ebay Seller's word that an stock air cleaner assembly from a F150, Mustang or other Ford vehicles from 1978 are the same. LMC Truck is no help either. So please share any knowledge you might have or input to help me out. Thanks!!!!

 

Room and access determine just what components are utilized and pretty sure E series will be very specific. Have you considered any salvage yards, they just might have one sitting around with the parts you need..
