Hi there, when I try to switch over to the second fuel tank, it sputters a bit and then the fuel needle goes down (the fuel is not getting through). Any ideas as to what may be the problem (and yes, there is gas in the second tank!!).

 

Some vehicles had the switching valve on the floor by the driver's seat. Do you have that by any chance?
