First thing you need to test for present of voltage at circuit 32 and 33 while cranking by a helper. Test 32 first if it's good you don't even need to test 33. If 32 no good but 33 good, then it's the connection problem in between, the neutral safety switch (range sensor) then you need to do another test (not mentioned yet) on the range sensor. If both 32 and 33 are no good, then you have problem with the ignition switch or the fuse.

Battery -> Junction Box -> Fuse Box (fuse for ignition) -> Ignition Switch -> Fuse Box (fuse for range sensor + starter solenoid) -> Range Sensor -> Starter Solenoid -> Starter Relay -> Starter Motor

Basically this is the ordering on a starting circuit and you are to test just part of it in bold above, the circuit 32, Red/Light Blue wire coming outbound from the range sensor toward the starter solenoid.
The starter trigger wire has 2 sections, before range sensor is circuit 33 (White/Pink), after range sensor is circuit 32 (Red/Light Blue).

will do, thank you
do you might have a sketch or drawing from the fuse box?
We decided, that this old van will be restored next year entirely. Where would be a good place to search for parts (I don't want to rob a bank)

Look at the diagram above why you can't see range sensor? That's why don't fully count on the protected circuits shown.
Look at the diagram below, it's fuse no. 5.

hi I am back, so far no luck, but I have not tried everything yet!
We had terrible rain this week and I discovered, that the windshield wiper on fast is only working when it is not humid, strange!
As soon I have more time I will fix that awesome thing

Above diagram is hi or low, not adjustable.
Below diagram is adjustable.

So check which one you have, not adjustable no relay.
If yours is not adjustable you probably just need to do some cleaning at the wiper motor. Adjustable both the motor and the relay where it says interval governor on 2nd diagram above.

Non-adjustable above.
Adjustable below.

What does that f540xhd regulator do?
You don't need to start the van for wiper operation but you can test both with key in run position.
What you should check and clean first is the circuit 58 (white wire) at the motor and the switch. While you are at it, it's better to just remove the electrical connector at the motor and use contact cleaner to clean, and wire brush if needed.
