2003 E350 7.3L REAR Ac Line broke at Fitting
I have a 2003 e350 with the rear AC. When dropping the fuel tank to replace the in tank filters, I bumped the smaller AC line and it broke at the nut/connected fitting near that area. The line looked corroded and it snapped right behind the nut, lost all the refrigerant...bummer!
I saw these as an option to replace the entire line set. Are they pretty simple to install or is access up at the engine bay/in the rear of the van a big PITA? I would consider just replacing the broken section with a repair kit, but upon inspection of the entire line set, the rubber hoses sectopm going up to the rear unit thru the floor are starting to crack, and I dont want to fix this section, only to have those cracked rubber hoses fail in 6mo, then replace the entire line set again at that point...
