I have a 95 e-150 with the 4.9 motor in it that was given to me as a gift. The van has 155k on it. The only problem other than cosmetic is this....When on fully applying acceleraor will not shift up gears and has stron fuel smell, when applying from light to medium has no power and slams when going into gear. When running van above 40 mph and pedal is fully applied looses all power as if i were putting into nuetral. The chec engine light comes on and off when problem occurs (does not flash), I have not scanned it due to being unclear to where obd plug in is for vehicle...Does anyone have any ideas for repair or further diagnosis to help repair and clear problem?
