Default 95 E350 stalls

Hey anyone out there have any insight about why my E350 / 5.8 is stalling?

I replaced the idle air control valve, still stalls. When i come to a stop, and more frequently when i shift to reverse:
Update, still stalls as above however I have a question, would a malfunctioning speed sensor contribute to a stall?
Information I have gathered so far indicates it is the throttle body needs cleaning which I am planning, but I'm sure its a sensor.
A couple days ago I made a short left to a stop, and after the stop there was a bump which was the posi engageing I think, another thing that happens is when I stop after a period of accelleration (freeway) and I attempt to move forward again it behaves as it is neutral until the rear end engages and care must be taken to avoid slamming it. I get the sense the ECM thinks the vehicle is moving when it is stopped.

Speed is often checked at the transmission - not at the axle - so a computer can 'F' it up. Posi rears wear out too. Maybe have the axle internals checked out - especially if you tow a lot or haul heavy loads. How many miles are on it?

Slamming engagement can be the transmission too. And don't forget to keep an eye on your air filter.
