Default 99 e150

Hi.. I have a 99 e150 that is getting 10-13 mpg. van is well maintained with recent plugs, wires, tune up. any idea what could be affecting the mileage. seems to run well and no lights are coming on Thanks

As long as you have had the vehicle have you ever obtained better mileage than presently? What is the vehicle carrying?

carrying a lot of tools basically. There is alot of weight in back. used to get around 14-15 mpg. always had the same amount of weight in back. mechanic said premium gas will net better gas mileage but of course is more money

Believe it or not the brand of spark plugs used can and does affect mileage and performance. IMO would stick with Motorcraft plugs. Simple things like tire pressure can affect mileage too.
