Best performance mods for E-150 4.6?
Gentlemen, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with upgrading the performance of the 4.6 that comes in the 98 E-150? Intake? Exhaust? Ignition computer? This thing only has 56,000 miles on it and runs really good but it has little power and gets lousy gas mileage (8 to 10 mpg). Oh, and it's in a conversion van so I'd imagine that the extra weight has some bearing on it. Any helpful advise would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know if you could call this advice, but I can recall when a E150 with a 302 would yield decent mileage, almost empty. When carrying any kind of substantial load the mileage suffered. What kind of load is your van carrying?
