Camper towing with E-250 SD
Hi Guys,
We are looking for some real world advice and experiences towing with a E-250 Super Duty. Looking at Toy haulers and wondering how close I can get to MFG. towing specs without adversely affecting safety. I have a 2011 E-250 SD Cargo Van, 5.4 with full towing package and 3.73 Rear. Class 4 hitch etc. Ford's tow rating is 7,400. That seems low compared to comparable F-250. I'm sure there's a valid reason for the difference, but I can't seem to find information on the topic. Anyone out there that can share their experience towing a camper with this setup would be greatly appreciated!!
