Default Changed brake pads now caliper seizing

1999 Ford e150 5.4l

Changed out pads on right front wheel, compressed piston, loosened reservoir cap, closed reservoir cap, pumped up brake -- now rotor wont budge!

Help please

Caliper dust boots were ok?
Some drag is normal, but when compressing the caliper piston back into its bore, the fluid should be expelled through the bleeder. Two reason for this,, one being it gives a piston free moment indication, and the second purges debris if present.
If not, any debris that sits in the caliper (system low point) is pushed backwards into the system and brake lines and reintroduced back into the caliper. If the piston didn't push back fairly easy, could be it’s dragging with the retraction. .

Haven't done the driver's side yet. Still trying to figure this one out. I replaced slide pins and boots. Pins are sliding great. The piston pushed back fairly easy. Now when you say drag is normal ...how much drag? Rotors will barely turn ...it takes an effort

Without hands on hard to gauge what your whitenessing,, but after the brakes were re applied, it should take light to slightly moderate grunt to turn the rotor by hand on through. If you need a pinch bar or leverage tool against the studs, , probably binding...

Thanks, So it's normal for the pads to be flush against the rotor and rotor not spin free?

Reminder,,,,,,,,,,,,, May apply here maybe not, One of the things guys forget or don't know is when replacing the pads the stainless steel inserts need to be removed and replaced with new inserts, but .the rust has to be removed from the surface under the inserts because if that is not done it causes the pads to stick and stay jammed where the caliper application piston left them.
