Default E-350 fuel pressure?

Hi all, wanted to see if anyone knows what the fuel pressure should be on a 93 model E-350 econoline motor home with a 460. I think it should be between 35-45 PSI but not sure. Pump pressures up to 40 PSI when the key is turned on but drops to 32 PSI when engine is running. Changed the fuel filter same results. Motor home is down on power but I want to be sure before dropping the tank and buying a 300.00 fuel pump. Thanks in advance!

From the specs that I checked , your KOEO pressure is OK, however, your KOER running pressure should be in the range of 30-45 PSI . With the gauge connected, and the KOEO , momentarily ground the fuel pump test lead at the Self test connector and turn the ignition ON. Next turn the ignition off and remove the jumper wire from the Self Test connector. Observe the fuel pressure reading on the gauge. The reading should not lose more than 2 PSI in the first 3 minutes. If the reading is low disconnect the fuel return line and plug it , then repeat the test , if the pressure now holds , replace the pressure regulator. Did I give you enough to do ?,,,,,hanky
