E350 15 passenger towing
I have a 2008 e350 15 passenger super duty (5.4v8) which I use to tow my 37 foot jatco 32bhds trailer rated at 8100lbs dry/empty. I figure its around 9200lbs loaded.
Its a bumper pull not a 5th wheel. The questions are. !. what is the max towing capacity for my van (I get three answers online) 2. If I go to a pickup should it be a 450 or 550?
When I lived on the east coast towing was pretty easy until I got up to NY where there are hills and mountains ( the van has serious issues with towing on grades of more than 6-8%)
I know nothing about diesel pick ups except that the 6.4 powerstroke is a disaster I am considering putting a larger motor in the van as well.. hmmm lol. Any input is most appreciated.

Good questions.
. I am interested in this also.
I have an 06 passenger van with the seats removed and I need to tow a car hauler trailer with it. Trying to figure out where to plug in what to get trailer lights and brakes.
