Default E350 no brake fluid going to one caliper.

Hi guys, I have a 1998 Ford e350 clubwagon. Just bought it for work. Runs excellent. However, when driving it home i noticed the van pulled hard to the left when braking. Jacked it up and noticed that the caliper on the front right was not workin. I had someone press the brakes and spun the wheel freely... so i loosened the bleeder valve, no fluid comes out, even when pumping brakes with vehicle on or off. I took off the brake line connecting from the frame to the caliper, no fluid still. Traced the line up the abs module, loosened the line that went to front passenger caliper, still no fluid when pumped. Abs light is on. My question is could it be the abs wheel sensor located on the hub? Would that prevent fluid flowing in that line to the caliper? Very little fluid comes out of said line at the caliper. Not like it should. It should shoot across the driveway... any help on this would be appreciated before I go and replace the abs module.

There is a good possibility the ABS modulator valve assy is faulty.
It is important for the Wheel speed sensor to not be sending incorrect info to the modulator causing it to open the solenoid valve thereby releasing the pressure applied to the caliper, but other enabling conditions are not present to allow this to take place. It sounds like the solenoid for that particular wheel is not functioning.

Is there any way to fix it other than replacing the module itself? Abs light is on, maybe because of that wheel sensor??

What you can do if you want to, have the vehicle checked for ABS codes and that should reduce any concerns if it is a sensor or valve problem.

Already have that planned for tomorrow. Hoping it’s just the wheel sensor and maybe a quick blast of air in through the line to free up the insides. I’ll let you know outcome, I’ll try to remember anyway
