E350 remote key locks
Is there a way to tell if my van had remote keyless entry? By VIN?
I just bought my 2001 E-350 XLT. Carfax stated this van had four previous owners and stolen once for three days. The seller handed me a basic duplicate type key, (non-OEM). And no remote. Which I assume meant it has been re-keyed. It has electric door locks.

Welcome to the site..
Your local Ford store parts dept can bring up the ' As Built' data by VIN should you ever need it. Cut replacement keys per VIN data and such if they were ever lost.
But you can check by trying to enter 'programming mode' for keyless entry.
If equipped,, doors closed, if/when you cycle the ignition key to the 'On' position 8 times within 10 seconds 'Ending' in ON position on the eighth cycle,, the door locks should lock and unlock letting you know that it's in remote programming mode...
